Poem #2Not Fade AwayI was gonna tell ya how it was gonna be . . .Now she is goneI feel I might just fade awayInto the nothingness whence I cameWithout her . . .I am no longer tied to papaNo longer earthed, rooted, fixedAnd the juices she invokedNo longer flowI am light and dried upSo the wind will blowMe away, aue! Aue!I can feel myself fadingThe shadows are slowly Engulfing meMy substance and consequence are disappearing into . . .My love was bigger than a Cadillac: Do Bee Doo Be Do, Bee DoodoIt now lies rusting out the back: Do Bee Doo Be Do, Bee Doodo

Poem #2
ReplyDeleteNot Fade Away
I was gonna tell ya how it was gonna be . . .
Now she is gone
I feel I might just fade away
Into the nothingness whence I came
Without her . . .
I am no longer tied to papa
No longer earthed, rooted, fixed
And the juices she invoked
No longer flow
I am light and dried up
So the wind will blow
Me away, aue! Aue!
I can feel myself fading
The shadows are slowly
Engulfing me
My substance and consequence are disappearing into . . .
My love was bigger than a Cadillac: Do Bee Doo Be Do, Bee Doodo
It now lies rusting out the back: Do Bee Doo Be Do, Bee Doodo
